CVE-2024-13427
The Pagelayer plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its Button widget affecting versions up to 2.0.0, caused by inadequate sanitization of user input and escaping of output attributes. Attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher can inject malicious scripts into pages, which will execute for anyone viewing those pages. A partial fix was applied in version 1.9.9, with complete remediation arriving in version 2.0.1.
