CVE-2024-12309
The Rate My Post – Star Rating Plugin by FeedbackWP contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in versions 4.2.4 and earlier through the get_post_status() function, which fails to properly validate user-supplied input. This flaw allows unauthenticated users to cast votes on posts that are scheduled but not yet published. The vulnerability stems from insufficient access controls on a user-controlled parameter.
