CVE-2024-12045
The Essential Blocks plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Google Maps block's maker title field affecting versions up to 5.0.9. Attackers with administrator privileges can inject malicious scripts through this field due to inadequate sanitization and escaping of the input. The vulnerability only impacts multi-site WordPress installations or those with unfiltered_html disabled, allowing injected scripts to execute when users view affected pages.
