CVE-2024-11727
The NotificationX plugin through version 2.9.3 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its notification content settings caused by inadequate sanitization of user inputs and failure to properly escape output. Attackers with administrator privileges or higher can inject malicious scripts into notification pages that execute for visitors viewing those pages. This vulnerability is limited to multisite WordPress installations and environments where the unfiltered_html capability has been restricted.
