CVE-2024-10568
The Ajax Search Lite plugin contains a stored cross-site scripting flaw affecting versions through 4.12.3 in its administrative settings due to inadequate sanitization of inputs and escaping of outputs. Authenticated administrators can inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view affected pages, but the vulnerability only manifests in WordPress multisite setups or where the unfiltered_html capability has been restricted. The issue has been remedied in version 4.12.4.
