CVE-2024-10325

The Elementor Header & Footer Builder plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in versions up to 1.6.45 affecting SVG file uploads through the REST API. Attackers with Author-level permissions or higher can inject malicious scripts by exploiting inadequate sanitization and escaping of user input, allowing the injected code to execute when users view the uploaded SVG file. The vulnerability was fixed in version 1.6.46.
