CVE-2023-7027
The Post SMTP plugin versions prior to 2.8.8 contain a cross-site scripting vulnerability discovered by Sean Murphy that permits attackers to inject malicious scripts into the website, which execute when visitors access affected pages. These injected scripts could include redirects, advertisements, or other HTML content. The flaw has been remedied in version 2.8.8 and users should upgrade immediately to address this security issue.
