CVE-2023-6986
The EmbedPress plugin before version 3.9.6 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its embed_oembed_html shortcode that allows authenticated users with contributor access or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of user-supplied attributes. These injected scripts execute when any visitor views the affected page. The flaw impacts all versions up to and including 3.9.5.
