CVE-2023-6842
The Formidable Forms plugin for WordPress versions up to 6.7 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the name field label and description field label parameters due to improper input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated administrators can inject malicious scripts that will execute when users view affected pages, though the vulnerability primarily impacts multisite installations or those with unfiltered_html disabled. The plugin allows administrators to grant form management permissions to lower-privilege users, enabling those users to exploit this vulnerability if they possess the necessary permissions.
