CVE-2023-6629
The Post SMTP plugin for WordPress through version 2.8.6 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the 'msg' parameter affecting all versions up to and including 2.8.6. The plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape user input on this parameter, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts that execute in a user's browser when they click a specially crafted link. The vulnerability was patched in version 2.8.7.
Based on public CVE data (MITRE/NVD).
