CVE-2023-6620
The Post SMTP plugin through version 2.8.6 contains a time-based SQL injection vulnerability in the selected parameter that affects authenticated administrators and higher-privileged users. The flaw stems from inadequate escaping of user-supplied input and improper parameterization of SQL queries, allowing attackers to inject malicious SQL code into existing queries. This vulnerability enables extraction of sensitive database information by authenticated users with administrator-level access or above. The issue was fixed in version 2.8.7.
