CVE-2023-6591
The Popup Box plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in versions 20.0.0 to 20.9.0 (Developer edition) and 7.0.0 to 7.9.0 (Business edition) affecting administrator-level users who can access plugin settings. An attacker with administrative privileges can inject malicious scripts through insufficiently sanitized admin fields, allowing arbitrary code execution when other users view affected pages. This vulnerability only impacts multisite WordPress installations or those with unfiltered_html disabled, and applies to the premium version of the plugin despite sharing the same slug as the free version.
