CVE-2023-5958
The Post SMTP plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting versions up to 2.7.0 that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts through email message content. The plugin fails to properly sanitize input and escape output, enabling arbitrary code execution when users view pages containing the injected content. This flaw was remedied in version 2.7.1.
Based on public CVE data (MITRE/NVD).
