CVE-2023-5340
The Five Star Restaurant Menu and Food Ordering plugin for WordPress through version 2.4.10 is affected by a PHP Object Injection vulnerability in the 'fdm_update_cart_item' AJAX action, where the 'options' parameter deserializes untrusted input without proper validation. Unauthenticated users can exploit this to inject PHP objects, and while no known gadget chain exists within the plugin itself, the presence of one in other installed plugins or themes could enable attackers to perform arbitrary file deletion, access sensitive information, or achieve code execution. The vulnerability was patched in version 2.4.11.
