CVE-2023-51375
The EmbedPress plugin for WordPress through version 3.8.3 contains a broken access control flaw that allows unauthenticated or low-privileged users to perform actions restricted to higher-privileged roles due to missing authorization checks and nonce verification. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by directly calling vulnerable functions without proper authentication. The issue has been resolved in version 3.8.4, and users should update immediately.
