CVE-2023-51359
The Essential Blocks plugin for WordPress contained a broken access control vulnerability that allowed unauthenticated or low-privileged users to perform actions normally restricted to higher-privileged accounts due to missing authorization and nonce token validation. Researcher Rafie Muhammad identified and reported this flaw, which could enable unauthorized users to execute protected functionality. The vulnerability was patched in version 4.2.1, and administrators should update their installations to this version or later to eliminate the risk.
