CVE-2023-5087
The Pagelayer page builder plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting versions 1.7.7 and earlier. Attackers with author-level privileges or higher can inject malicious scripts into header and footer post content due to inadequate sanitization and escaping mechanisms. When other users view pages containing this injected code, the scripts execute in their browsers. This flaw was remedied in version 1.7.8.
