The Button Generator plugin for WordPress contains a broken access control flaw that allows unauthenticated or low-privileged users to perform actions normally restricted to higher-privileged accounts due to missing authorization and nonce verification checks. The vulnerability, discovered by Elliot, remains unpatched as of the advisory date with no response from the plugin developer. Versions below 2.3.9 are affected by this security issue.
