CVE-2023-44996
The Post View Count plugin for WordPress through version 2.0 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability stemming from inadequate nonce verification in one of its functions. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this flaw by crafting a malicious request that executes when a site administrator is tricked into clicking a link or performing another action, allowing the attacker to trigger unintended functionality on the affected site.
