The URL Shortify plugin before version 1.7.6 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability that researchers Bartlomiej Marek and Tomasz Swiadek discovered and disclosed. An attacker could exploit this flaw to inject harmful scripts into the website, potentially executing redirects, advertisements, or other malicious HTML code when visitors access the site. The vulnerability was patched in version 1.7.6, and users should update immediately to this version or later.
