The EmbedPress plugin for WordPress versions prior to 3.8.3 contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows unauthenticated or low-privilege users to perform actions intended for higher-privilege accounts due to missing authorization checks, authentication validation, or nonce verification. This flaw was discovered by Lana Codes and has been resolved in version 3.8.3 and later.
