CVE-2023-40068
The Advanced Custom Fields plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting versions 6.1 through 6.1.7 in which labels for ACF post types and taxonomies are not adequately sanitized on input or escaped on output. Administrators and higher-level users can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view affected pages. The vulnerability only manifests in multisite WordPress installations or configurations where the unfiltered_html capability has been disabled.
