CVE-2023-36503
The MaxButtons plugin for WordPress contained a cross-site scripting flaw that could allow an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary scripts on affected websites. These injected scripts could perform various malicious actions including redirecting users, displaying unwanted advertisements, or executing arbitrary HTML. The vulnerability was present in versions prior to 9.6 and has been patched in that release.
