CVE-2023-1912

The Limit Login Attempts plugin for WordPress through version 1.7.1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its lock logging functionality caused by inadequate sanitization of user input and lack of proper output encoding. Unauthenticated attackers can inject malicious scripts that execute when administrators view the plugin's settings page, provided the plugin is configured to use the X-FORWARDED-FOR header. This vulnerability was resolved in version 1.7.2.
