CVE-2023-0992

Shield Security for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in versions before 17.0.18 that could allow an attacker to inject malicious scripts into the website, potentially executing redirects, advertisements, or other HTML payloads when visitors access affected pages. The vulnerability was discovered by Ramuel Gall and has been resolved in version 17.0.18 and later. Users should update the plugin immediately to prevent exploitation.
