CVE-2023-0911

The Shortcodes Ultimate plugin before version 5.12.8 contains an authorization flaw in its user shortcode functionality that fails to properly validate which user metadata can be accessed. Any logged-in user, including those with minimal permissions like subscribers, can exploit this vulnerability to retrieve sensitive user metadata fields including email addresses and activation keys, though password hashes remain protected.
