The Wicked Folders plugin contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in its ajax_add_folder function through version 2.18.16, where authenticated users with subscriber-level access or higher can call the function without proper permission validation. This flaw allows such attackers to perform administrative operations like altering folder configurations that should be restricted to administrators only. The vulnerability was patched in version 2.18.17.
