CVE-2023-0708
The Metform plugin for Elementor in versions up to 3.3.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability where the 'mf_first_name' shortcode outputs unescaped user-submitted data. Authenticated users with contributor access or higher can inject malicious scripts through form submissions that persist in the database and execute when other users view pages containing the shortcode with a specific submission ID in the URL query string. Exploitation requires the victim to click a crafted link, though the payload itself is stored server-side. This issue has been patched in version 3.3.1.
