CVE-2022-40132
The Seriously Simple Podcasting plugin through version 2.16.0 contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability where the save_step function and other onboarding-related functions lack proper nonce validation. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this flaw to modify plugin settings by deceiving an administrator into clicking a malicious link, provided the attacker can craft and deliver the forged request. The vulnerability was addressed in version 2.16.1.
