CVE-2022-2823
The MetaSlider plugin versions below 3.27.9 contain a cross-site scripting vulnerability that could permit attackers to inject malicious scripts into a website. When site visitors access the compromised pages, the injected code executes in their browsers, potentially delivering redirects, advertisements, or other harmful payloads. The vulnerability was identified by Anurag Bhoir and has been resolved in version 3.27.9 and later.
