CVE-2022-2515
The Simple Banner plugin through version 2.11.0 allows authenticated users with access to the plugin's settings to store malicious scripts by exploiting inadequate sanitization of the `pro_version_activation_code` parameter. These injected scripts execute when any user with plugin access visits the settings page, creating a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that can be exploited by lower-privileged authenticated accounts. The flaw has been patched in version 2.12.0 and later.
