The WPFront Notification Bar plugin before version 2.1.0.08087 fails to adequately sanitize and escape configuration options, enabling authenticated users with elevated privileges to inject malicious scripts through the plugin settings even when the unfiltered_html capability has been restricted. This vulnerability allows high-privilege users to execute Cross-Site Scripting attacks against site visitors despite the intended HTML filtering protections being in place.
