CVE-2021-24458

The Popup Box plugin before version 2.3.4 contained SQL injection vulnerabilities in the get_ays_popupboxes() and get_popup_categories() functions due to insufficient validation of the orderby parameter before it was incorporated into database queries executed through get_results() calls. An attacker with admin dashboard access could exploit this flaw to inject malicious SQL code. The vulnerability affected the plugin's administrative interface functionality.
