CVE-2021-24203
The Elementor Website Builder plugin before version 3.1.4 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its divider widget. Users with Contributor level access or higher can modify the 'html_tag' parameter in a save_builder request to inject a 'script' tag alongside malicious JavaScript in the 'text' parameter, causing the injected code to execute when the page is viewed or previewed. Although the widget control restricts selectable HTML tags, the validation can be bypassed through direct request manipulation.
