CVE-2020-36157

The Ultimate Member plugin versions before 2.1.12 contained a privilege escalation vulnerability in its user registration process. An attacker could assign themselves arbitrary WordPress roles or custom Ultimate Member roles by manipulating the unfiltered role parameter during registration, thereby gaining elevated privileges without proper authorization.
