CVE-2017-16871

The UpdraftPlus backup and migration plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.13.12 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in its plupload_action function located within admin.php. A race condition exists in the file deletion process that handles the name parameter, allowing arbitrary PHP code to be executed. Although the vendor notes this vulnerability does not involve privilege escalation across user boundaries, it still poses a significant security risk.
