CVE-2015-9525
The Easy Digital Downloads plugin for WordPress contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in versions prior to 2.3.7, affecting the 1.8.x branch before 1.8.7, 1.9.x before 1.9.10, 2.0.x before 2.0.5, 2.1.x before 2.1.11, 2.2.x before 2.2.9, and 2.3.x before 2.3.7. The vulnerability stems from improper use of the add_query_arg function, which fails to properly sanitize user input when constructing URLs. An attacker could inject malicious scripts through specially crafted requests to execute arbitrary code in the browsers of affected users.
