The WPML plugin for WordPress versions prior to 3.1.9 contains a cross-site scripting flaw that enables attackers to inject malicious scripts or HTML code. The vulnerability exists in the reminder_popup functionality, where the target parameter fails to properly sanitize user input when processing requests to the default URI. Remote attackers can exploit this weakness to execute arbitrary JavaScript or inject HTML content in the context of affected users' browsers.
