The Nextend Facebook Connect plugin before version 1.5.1 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the nextend-facebook-settings.php file that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts or HTML code. The vulnerability exists in how the plugin handles the fb_login_button parameter when processing newfb_update_options actions, enabling remote code injection without proper input validation. Users running versions prior to 1.5.1 should upgrade to patch this XSS flaw.
