CVE-2014-8585
A directory traversal vulnerability exists in the WordPress Download Manager plugin before version 2.7 that permits remote attackers to read arbitrary files on the server. The vulnerability arises from insufficient validation of the fname parameter in the file download functionality, allowing attackers to use path traversal sequences to access files outside the intended directory. Both views/file_download.php and file_download.php are affected by this flaw.
