CVE-2012-6692
A cross-site scripting vulnerability existed in the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin prior to version 2.2, where the post_title parameter passed to wp-admin/post-new.php was insufficiently sanitized in the snippet preview feature. This flaw, located in js/wp-seo-metabox.js, permitted attackers to inject malicious scripts or HTML code. The vulnerability affected all versions before 2.2, with the issue being resolved in version 2.2 and later.
