The Simple Download Monitor plugin before version 3.5.4 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability that could enable attackers to inject arbitrary scripts into affected websites. When visitors access a compromised site, these injected scripts could execute, potentially redirecting users, displaying unwanted advertisements, or executing other malicious code. The vulnerability was identified by wpl0v3r and has been resolved in version 3.5.4 and later.
